Wellington Fibres, Elora
Wellington Fibres is a small business owned by myself, Donna Hancock and my husband, Lorne Thomson. We have a farm with 30 breeding Angora goats, which produce mohair. The goats are sheared twice a year and the mohair is processed on site at our own mill. Along with our own product we offer custom processing of natural protein fibres. Our specialty yarns are brushed and boucle. To accomodate smaller producers our minimum requirement is only one fleece. Our goal is to customize our processing to your needs.

Celebrating Canada’s 150 Challenge
This year we are celebrating Canada’s birthday with a series of yarn samplers inspired by six regions of Canada. We’ve pulled inspiration from six different geographic regions: West Coast, Prairies, Tundra, Canadian Shield, Great Lakes, and East Coast.
Send us a photo of what you do with it by December 31, 2017 and you will be entered to win a $50 Wellington Fibres Gift Certificate! You can find them in our online store too! Yarn samplers are here and roving samplers are available here
